TABLE OF CONTENTS

Performing An Antenna Scan

Step 1: Locate the antenna booster on your RV

  • The antenna booster will be a small box with a green or red light with a tiny button. The antenna booster emits a strengthening signal to assist you in picking up channels
  • The antenna booster is typically located in a cabinet near your main television.

Step 2: Perform The Channel Scan For Air Channels

  • You will have to perform a channel scan on each television in your RV
  • Ensure that the Antenna Booster is ON. You will see a red or green light that indicates it is ON.

  • Use your TV Remote to select the correct Input for your antenna. Typically the name of that input will be TV.
  • Select Menu
    • Choose Channels
    • Auto Channel Search
    • Select Antenna
    • A progress bar should display as the scan begins

If you have an older camper you may have a crank style antenna. If any of the channels that are picked up during the scan are pixelated or unclear, you can turn the antenna left and right in effort to clear up the displayed images.

  • Look at the wall plate of the antenna booster and press the button. The light should go OFF
